Before each example of the wonderful 4.2-liter V8 engine gets anywhere near a Maserati, it is subjected to computer-controlled dynamic balancing followed by a strenuous work-out on a dynamometer. Before a transmission is built into a car, it has to pass a computer-controlled quality check. As each Maserati is assembled by the skilled technicians who put each car together by hand, every fourth station on the line includes a quality check on what has gone before. Every car goes on a rolling road and through a high-pressure water penetration test before being driven on the roads around Modena by a test driver.

With so much emphasis on checking and re-checking, it is no surprise that the factory stands behind its products, and the Trident values the close bond it shares with every Maserati owner.  In conjunction with the new Trident Discoveries Certified Pre-Owned program*, Maserati is now offering comprehensive extended service coverage to owners of qualified cars.  To qualify, your 2002 or later Maserati must have:

• Fewer that 90,000 miles;
• Passed a 120-point examination;
• No major accident involvement;
• No modification other than that approved by Maserati and performed by an authorized Maserati dealer;
• Completed all scheduled maintenance by an authorized Maserati dealer.

Coverage is extended to five years or 90,000 miles, whichever occurs sooner.
