Quattroporte Collezione Cento – the Best, made even Better
Exterior and Interior Upgrades Feature in Exclusive Limited Edition

Interior of the Maserati Quattroporte Collezione Cento

The 'virtual office' inside the Interior of the Maserati Quattroporte Collezione Cento

The Maserati Quattroporte has long been the sedan of choice for drivers who appreciate both luxury and performance. With its 4.2-liter V8 engine built by Ferrari, the superlative Skyhook adaptive suspension and excellent weight distribution, its sporting credentials cannot be faulted; and the Poltrona Frau leather and fine wood trim make the interior a tremendous place to enjoy the performance.

The question the Maserati designers asked themselves was: how do you improve on something which is already so good that Top Gear described it as “quite possibly the most beautiful and desirable four-door saloon in the world”? For those people who value the luxury element of the Quattroporte, the answer is the Collezione Cento. The performance remains unchanged while almost every other aspect of the car has been enhanced.

The exterior of the Quattroporte has always exuded an air of understated elegance; styled by Pininfarina, it turns heads without being brash or showy. The Collezione Cento enhances this with a unique ivory white paint color, 20” ball-polished alloy wheels and a chromed honeycomb finish for the front grille and side vents.

However, Maserati recognizes that, however stylish and elegant the exterior may be, owners will want to spend most of their time in the cabin – and the Collezione Cento does not disappoint. The steering wheel and trim are crafted from Wengé wood, while interior badging and the Trident symbol atop the shift lever are genuine mother of pearl. The seats – clad, naturally, in the finest leather from Poltrona Frau – feature unique diamond-stitched button-finished panels.

Even though the Maserati is one of the most enjoyable sedans to drive (evo magazine described it as “the best-handling supersaloon on the planet”), for some successful executives their time is too valuable to be spent driving – even when the car is as rewarding to the driver as the Quattroporte. So Maserati has ensured that the rear seats are as well-equipped as possible, to create a ‘virtual office’. There are dual 10.4” LCD touchscreens mounted in the back of the front seats, which can be used to retrieve email and surf the Internet – the Collezione Cento comes with a fold-away keyboard which stows in the center armrest when not in use. The screens can also be used to watch a DVD, using the player which is discreetly mounted in the center console, which also houses the rear seat controls for the climate control system. An iPod docking station, twin USB ports and two sets of wireless headphones complete the rear seat entertainment system.

The Collezione Cento is a true limited edition – the name means ‘Collection of one hundred’, and each car is individually numbered, with an inlayed plaque in the interior displaying the number. As the name suggests, only one hundred examples of the most exclusive version of the Quattroporte will be hand-built in Modena; just twenty-five cars are destined for North America, and the majority have already been snapped up. Contact your local authorized Maserati dealer to find out how you can get behind the wheel of the Collezione Cento; but do it now, because the remaining cars are going – fast!
